Introduction
If you know me then you know that I really like going to the movies so I've come up with this site to share my opinions with you. A few years ago I used to send reviews by e-mail but not everybody wants to get weekly e-mails for ever.
Every week when I look into what movie I want to see I try to find some information on the movie without getting any plot developments or which character gets the girl and so on. These unwelcome pieces of information are referred to as spoilers.
Information on the Reviews
Before the mini-review there is a quick synopsis and a letter grade. Movies that have a grade lower than B are not recommended. Each movie is graded independently from other movies, what the grade reflects is how well the movie pleases its target audience. The grades are mostly subjective, there aren't any criteria for a movie to get an "A" but if a movie puts me to sleep in the theatre then that usually tends to be an automatic grade in the F range.
About me
I get to watch the movies at the time they are released to the general public. I usually see them on the first weekend they open. Even though I saw about 160 movies at the theatre in 2005 I don't see every movie that comes out, there are some that I just skip and never watch. If I don't see a movie at the theatre the likelihood that I will see it on a DVD is very small. I think movies are at their best in the theatres with big screens and good audiences. I like to watch DVD's for movies that came out before my time.
